ga apron and taxilane reconstruction - schedule ii

This project includes the total reconstruction of the GA apron and taxilane lying south of the existing large county hangar down to and including the taxilane leading to the C and D hangars.Funding for this project is provided by FAA, Wyoming State Aeronautics Division, and Sheridan County. Total estimated cost of the project is $2,227,800 with the split 95% FAA, 3% Aeronautics, and 2% local.

This project will include:

Removal of all existing deteriorated asphalt pavement;  Regrading of the apron to eliminate a longitudinal valley pan running the length of the apron, which has caused problems with prop driven aircraft;  Regrading along the entire west side of the taxilane to correct non-standard shoulder slopes and to provide proper drainage away from the pavement;  Installation of a conduit for a future waterline across the apron and taxilane for future expansion of the GA Hangar Complex;  Complete replacement of the existing clay tile storm drain line that exists along the west side of the taxilane due to deterioration of the pipe and the need to handle future expansion of the GA Hangar Complex; Placement of crushed based and new concrete pavement throughout the apron and taxilane reconstruction area; Installation of new aircraft tiedowns.
